Nanpu brings a little taste of Okinawan culture to Nagoya. Their cuisine has proved so popular that has five locations have sprung up in Nagoya and three in Gifu Prefecture. No matter which location you choose, you will find a lively atmosphere, with young, energetic staff and an extensive list of Okinawan treats to choose from. Goya is a bitter vegetable popular in Okinawa, and unless it is properly prepared, can be a little difficult to enjoy. However, this concern does not exist in Nanpu, and all of their food is delicious and great to share for a large party. For those who enjoy drinks, they also serve Awamori, Okinawa’s answer to Rice Wine. But remember, Awamori is far stronger than Sake, in some cases having twice the alcohol content! It packs a powerful punch, one you might not notice until the following morning.
