Earth-conscious restaurant Hajime brings creativity to food

When you look at nature, the aesthetics of food might not be the first thing that pops to mind. Hajime Yoneda however, is the exception as this is precisely what the Hajime's head chef Hajime aims to create his dishes. Hajime finds beauty within the harmony and balance of space, earth, and nature, and expresses this through his cookery. Most famous for his signature dish Chikyu (Earth) which has no less than 110 different vegetables, grains and herbs situated around a shellfish foam that represents planet Earth.

Located in the quiet precinct of Edobori in Osaka, Hajime's interior is minimalistic in design with white tablecloths and dark mahogany walls with only the vividness of the vase of exotic flowers in the room breaking the monotony.
