Mizuno Restaurant

Mizuno is full of history – and great food

Like so many other great restaurants in Osaka, Mizuno is located on Dotonbori Street, and it has been serving okonomiyaki for over 70 years. The original restaurant was bombed during World War II, rebuilt just after it and remains standing. The restaurant has now been owned and operated by the same family for three generations.

One of their more famous okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake) dishes is their yam flour okonomiyaki, a truly remarkable dish. Others include the yoshoku-yaki (western style), modern-yaki, and negi-yaki (onion style). Offering very reasonable prices, Mizo no is a great place to go regardless of occasion, from lunch meetings to dates!
