Moomin Cafe

ムーミン ベーカリー&カフェ

Cute Café Serving Finnish Specialties

If there is one thing that Japanese people love it is a cute character, so much so that almost every city, company and even landmark has its very own kawaii (cute) mascot.

To tap into this inherent love for all things cuddly, The Moomin Café is based characters from the 1990s animated series, which was a big hit in Japan.

The café serves bread and other meals inspired by either the characters themselves or specialities from Finland, from where the cartoon originated.

If you aren’t hungry, many customers also visit for the souvenirs, guaranteed to make any Moomin fan happy.

The café is on the B1F floor of the Canal City Mall.
